Blockchain Life 2022 gathered 7000 people!

Moscow hosted the 8th international forum on cryptocurrencies and mining Blockchain Life 2022.

The forum has become the largest event on blockchain, cryptocurrencies and mining in the world, bringing together more than 7,000 participants.

Forum participants learned about current trading and investment strategies, ways to maximize profits in mining, the practical implementation of blockchain technology, ways to make money in DeFi and GameFi, and opportunities to make money in NFT.

Traditionally, one of the most significant events of the forum was a big discussion with representatives of the state, among whom were the Director of the Financial Policy Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation Ivan Chebeskov, Presidential Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs Dmitry Marinichev and State Duma deputies Andrey Lugovoy, Valery Seleznev and Igor Ananskikh.

If at the autumn Blockchain Life forum the consideration of the cryptocurrencies’ issue by the state was only announced, then at this event the participants were already fully discussing possible improvements to the draft law of the Ministry of Finance. The forum once again proved its necessity as a platform for discussions between the crypto community and the state.

In his speech, State Duma Deputy Andrey Lugovoy noted that experts from the working group on the legislative regulation of cryptocurrencies plan to amend the bill from the Ministry of Finance and submit an updated document in 2-3 days. Among the changes discussed are the appointment of the Federal Tax Service as the regulator instead of the Central Bank, tax incentives for miners and an increase in the minimum amount of money for investors. The deputy suggests working with cryptocurrencies through Russian banks. Andrey Lugovoy also noted: “By this summer, we have every chance to submit a bill to the State Duma. We will move from words to deeds.”

State Duma deputy Igor Ananskikh spoke about the future of mining in Russia. He said that Russia would take it up at the state level and get a chance to come out on top in terms of cryptocurrency mining in the world.
