Dubai as a Hub for Investment Capital
Investment moves to places where growth can turn into scale. Over the past few years Dubai has become one of those places for investors, funds, Web3 companies and technology entrepreneurs.
In 2025 Dubai ranked number one globally for greenfield FDI projects for the fifth consecutive year. The UAE also continued to strengthen its position among the world’s leading destinations for foreign direct investment.
For the crypto market this is especially important. The industry has long moved beyond a speculative cycle and is gradually entering a more mature phase built around infrastructure, regulation, institutional participation, tokenization, AI and new models of the digital economy. At this stage capital needs more than ideas. It needs an environment where those ideas can be developed and scaled.
Dubai has created that environment through clear regulation, access to international capital, government support for innovation, advanced business infrastructure and a strong international business community.
This is what makes the emirate especially important for Web3, digital assets and AI. These industries grow faster when companies, investors, infrastructure and new markets are close to each other.
This is why Blockchain Life 2026 will once again take place in Dubai with the debut of AI Future Forum.
On December 1–2 the forum will bring together investors, funds, crypto companies, exchanges, miners, AI companies, entrepreneurs and technology leaders from around the world. For participants it is an opportunity to see where capital is moving, which sectors are gaining momentum and which projects may define the next stage of the market.
